This year marks the 51st anniversary of the inscription penned by Mao Zedong and other veteran proletarian revolutionaries in tribute to Comrade Lei Feng. In accordance with the relevant requirements issued by the Party Committee of the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Tourism and Resort Zone on launching a campaign to educate Party members and cadres in the mass line throughout the zone, on the afternoon of April 10, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. organized its employees and cadres to watch the film “Lei Feng.”

The film portrays the touching story of Lei Feng, who in 1959 answered the call of the Party and the state to go to Gongchangling, Liaoyang—where conditions were harsh—to help build a coking plant. Over the course of 142 days, he burned with the fiery passion of youth, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to others and bringing warmth to those around him.

After watching the film, viewers generally agreed that it vividly portrays Lei Feng as a model worker—youthful, full of compassion and gratitude—and that it is highly engaging, artistically compelling, and rich in ideological depth, serving as a vivid educational resource for learning from the spirit of Lei Feng. At the same time, the film has inspired the cadres and employees of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group to stay committed to their respective posts, strive for first-class performance, and actively advance the building of the socialist core value system by drawing on the touching deeds, shining image, and noble spirit of this exemplary figure.
