On May 5, 2014, Zhou Junping, Deputy Director of the State Food and Drug Administration, along with two other officials, conducted a safety and hygiene inspection of drinking water at Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Spring Drinking Water Co., Ltd.

The inspection team conducted on-site inspections of the enterprise’s production workshops, production procedures, production processes, production conditions, inspection methods, and production technologies. At the same time, they carried out a detailed review of quality documentation, the production license, the establishment of ledgers for the purchase and use of raw and auxiliary materials, the implementation of quality control over raw and auxiliary materials and components, and the effective operation of the incoming goods acceptance record system.
