As the June Safety Production Month campaign is in full swing, on June 19, the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group invited the Jinghong City Traffic Police Detachment to conduct a training session on road traffic safety regulations at the company.

 

 

Officers from the Jinghong City Traffic Police Brigade presented case studies of traffic violations detected under the newly implemented Intelligent Traffic Management System, which has been in effect since June 1. They provided a detailed analysis and interpretation of such offenses as speeding, running red lights, crossing or straddling lane markings, changing lanes after entering a designated guide lane, making left turns at intersections where left turns are prohibited, making unauthorized U-turns, driving against the flow of traffic, illegally parking on roadways, failing to wear seat belts, and using mobile phones while driving—each of which poses a serious threat to road safety and disrupts traffic order—and explained how these violations impact both safety and the smooth flow of traffic.

 

 

Meanwhile, the training instructors engaged in interactive discussions with employees on topics such as driving skills, safety considerations during vehicle operation, identification and handling of vehicle malfunctions, and routine vehicle maintenance.

 

 

Through these training activities, the company’s employees and drivers have further enhanced their legal awareness and safety-conscious driving habits, which will play a positive role in strengthening vehicle management and ensuring safe driving practices going forward, as well as in consciously upholding road traffic order.
