Practical, effective and practical

On August 6, a leading assessment team consisting of seven members, headed by Zhang Yanhong, Deputy General Manager of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., conducted a performance appraisal for the first half of 2014 at the Wild Elephant Spring Water Plant, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group. The assessment focused on five key areas: workplace safety and product quality, employee work efficiency, asset ledger management, corporate culture development, and environmental hygiene.

Members of the assessment team conducted in-depth, on-site inspections at the grassroots level and fully commended the various initiatives undertaken by the Wild Elephant Spring Water Plant in the first half of 2014. To promote the plant’s own sustainable development, the assessment team emphasized the following points: First, the plant must steadfastly regard the provision of high-quality, safe drinking water to all residents of the prefecture as its core mission; strengthen the protection and management of water sources; establish a comprehensive system for drinking-water hygiene management and testing; rigorously control drinking-water quality; and ensure that all residents of the prefecture have access to safe, high-quality, and trustworthy water. Second, the plant must remain people-oriented, improve working conditions, and project a new, civilized image. Third, the plant must enhance its internal supervision and management, reinforce the enforcement of work procedures, and elevate the overall quality of its operations. Fourth, the plant must standardize record-keeping through rules and regulations, strengthen ledger management, and swiftly bring all aspects of its work onto a well-organized and efficient track.
