On November 6, He Tianlun, Executive Vice Chairman of the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Federation of Trade Unions, led a delegation to Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. to conduct a research visit and provide guidance. Zhang Yanhong, Vice Chairwoman and Party Branch Secretary of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., on behalf of the company, expressed gratitude to the leaders of the Prefecture Federation of Trade Unions for their care, assistance, and support.

 

At the research meeting, Wang Jinzheng, Chairman of the Trade Union of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., provided a detailed briefing to the research team on the company’s general situation, the progress of trade union work, and key areas of focus, including strengthening grassroots trade union organizations, improving institutional frameworks, developing “Workers’ Homes,” showing care for employees, engaging in social welfare activities, and providing poverty alleviation and assistance. Vice Chairman He Tianlun commended the significant achievements the company has made since its establishment in production, operations, and serving the community, and put forward his expectations and requirements for the trade union’s work: first, prioritize employee learning, training, and education, establishing institutionalized and long-term mechanisms; second, emphasize the core task of building a service-oriented Party organization, fully leveraging the exemplary and leading role of Party members to offer constructive advice for enterprise development, provide excellent services to employees, and drive corporate growth; third, adhere to the principle of “Party building leading trade union development, and trade union development promoting Party building,” ensuring coordinated planning and implementation to foster joint Party–union development; fourth, pay close attention to the physical and mental well-being of frontline employees and organize a wide range of vibrant cultural, sports, and recreational activities; and fifth, continue to intensify corporate publicity efforts, effectively showcasing to the outside world the pragmatic, hardworking, and enterprising spirit of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group’s employees, thereby spreading positive energy to society.

Following the research meeting, Vice Chairman He Tianlun and his delegation, accompanied by Wang Jinzheng, Chairman of the Trade Union of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., visited the Guanping Water Plant of Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Spring Drinking Water Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Group. They listened carefully to a briefing on the operations of the Wild Elephant Spring Water Plant and conducted a site visit to the plant’s drinking water production workshop.
