In his farewell address, Secretary Li Jiheng stated: “As the International Labor Day on May 1st draws near, we are convening this solemn yet modest, warm yet heartfelt farewell ceremony. This is not only a great honor for you, but also a source of pride for all the people of the province! On this occasion, I extend my warmest congratulations to you and, through you, convey festive greetings to all workers across the province who have been tirelessly striving in every sector of our economy and society.”

Secretary Li Jiheng pointed out that, in the great practice of reform, opening up, and modernization, our province has seen the emergence of a large number of outstanding role models who are morally exemplary and have made remarkable contributions. The model workers who have traveled to Beijing to attend the National Commendation Conference represent the very best among them. Through their exceptional work, they have set an inspiring example of dedication, professional excellence, and the pursuit of first-class performance. These model workers are the cream of the crop of our times and serve as fine role models for all the people of the province. Secretary Li Jiheng also expressed the hope that, during their visit to Beijing, all the model workers will learn extensively from their counterparts and other advanced workers across the country, and upon their return will further exemplify and lead by example, carry forward the spirit of model workers, assume a pioneering role, and galvanize the broad ranks of employees to actively engage in Yunnan Province’s reform and development efforts, thereby making new and even greater contributions to the province’s development.

Among them, Comrade Liu Tianwei, Chairman of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., has been actively recommended and rigorously selected at multiple levels, and will now travel to Beijing to attend this National Conference for Commending Model Workers, where he will be awarded the highest honor bestowed upon workers.
