On September 27, the Mengla Branch of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group invited Deputy Captain Xiao Zhihu of the Mengla County Counter-Terrorism Detachment to conduct a specialized training session on “Counter-Terrorism and Terrorism Prevention” for the branch’s employees.

At the meeting, Deputy Captain Xiao first provided a detailed interpretation of the key provisions of the Counter-Terrorism Law. Subsequently, through a variety of methods—including screening promotional videos, conducting consultation sessions and explanatory briefings, holding symposiums and exchanges, and engaging in interactive activities with the public—employees were made aware of knowledge related to counter-terrorism and terrorism prevention, as well as enhanced their awareness of how to prevent and respond to terrorist attacks and improved their abilities in self-protection, self-rescue, and emergency response.

This training has strengthened employees’ awareness of “understanding, recognizing, preventing, and countering terrorism,” and enhanced their sense of primary responsibility for counterterrorism efforts.
