On the eve of the 108th International Women’s Day, on the evening of March 6, the Party branch, trade union, and Communist Youth League of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group jointly organized a screening of the patriotic documentary “Amazing China” for the company’s employees.

The film “Amazing China” is a joint production of China Central Television and China Film Co., Ltd. Grounded in the guiding principles of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the film showcases China’s remarkable achievements over the past five years under the new development philosophy of innovation, coordination, green development, openness, and shared benefits. It highlights the arduous efforts of the Chinese people in the comprehensive drive to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects and underscores the wise leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core. The film provides a comprehensive account of the historic accomplishments China has made since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in advancing reform and opening-up and socialist modernization.

This film-viewing event was unanimously praised by all employees, who said they thoroughly enjoyed the festive cheer and felt an overwhelming sense of happiness!

Viewing the film has further inspired patriotic sentiments among all employees. Following the screening, participants generally agreed that the awe-inspiring visuals of these mega-engineering projects and the stories behind them not only highlight the nation’s strength but also exemplify the admirable qualities of grassroots workers—their fearlessness in the face of hardship, their dedication to hard work, and their spirit of pioneering and striving for progress. As employees of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical, we will continue to enthusiastically contribute to the great cause of our motherland and to the Belt and Road Initiative, roll up our sleeves and work diligently, and create new glories for Xishuangbanna Petrochemical—thereby adding our part to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
