To better foster a vibrant atmosphere for Safety Production Month activities, enhance safety awareness across the board, improve the safety competence of all personnel, and ensure that safety production responsibilities are fully implemented, on June 5 On the afternoon of [date], Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group solemnly held the 2019 “Safety Production Month” launch ceremony and a liquefied petroleum gas leak fire emergency evacuation drill at the Xiaomengyang LPG Storage and Distribution Station, under the theme “Prevent Risks, Eliminate Hazards, and Curb Accidents.” The drill was chaired by Chen Rui, Deputy Director of the LPG Storage and Distribution Station, and invited Relevant government departments and heads of neighboring organizations conducted on-site observation.
At the launch ceremony, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Bottled LPG Sales Company Deputy General Manager Liu Tianmei began by explaining the importance of preventing and mitigating major risks, promptly eliminating safety hazards, and effectively curbing production safety accidents. He emphasized the need to strengthen enterprises’ primary responsibility for workplace safety and the comprehensive, position-specific safety accountability system covering all employees, ensuring that responsibilities are fully implemented with no blind spots and complete coverage. Comply with operating procedures, strictly abide by laws and regulations, and eliminate unsafe practices.
Subsequently, Liu Rong, head of the Safety Storage Department of the Group Company, led all employees in taking the oath for the Safety Month campaign. Through the collective safety pledge, the shift in mindset from “I must be safe” to “I want to be safe” has been further advanced among all employees. All personnel have also pledged to firmly uphold the red line of safe production, ensuring the smooth and safe execution of all tasks.
Following the ceremony, the venue also hosted Liquefied gas leak Fire emergency evacuation and fire suppression drill, with a simulation set up in the tank area of the liquefied gas storage and distribution station.
