To commemorate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, on the evening of June 28, the Party branch, trade union, and CYLC committee of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group jointly organized more than 90 employees to watch the major revolutionary historical film “Zhou Enlai Returns to Yan’an” at the Fortune Center Cinema, thereby revisiting the Yan’an Spirit.

The film centers on the historic event of Premier Zhou Enlai, gravely ill in June 1973, returning to Yan’an, and looks back on the major historical events of the Chinese Revolution during its 13-year sojourn in Yan’an. It celebrates the great spirit of the Communist Party of China—its unswerving commitment to its original aspiration and its tireless struggle—rooted in the flesh-and-blood bond between the Party and the people.

The film depicts Premier Zhou’s 22-hour visit to Yan’an, during which he remained in close contact with the masses at every moment and never lost sight of his original aspiration and mission to strive for the happiness of the people. This vividly showcases the great compassion of a generation of outstanding leaders who always put the people first, deeply moving every employee who watched the film. Attendees unanimously expressed their commitment to taking the older generation of revolutionaries as role models, staying true to our original aspiration and mission, further cultivating patriotic sentiments, rallying collective strength to catch up and surpass others, and thereby driving the company and the group toward high-quality, rapid development.
