[August 1st Army Day] The Trade Union of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Organizes a Friendship Event to Honor the Military on the Occasion of August 1st
To commemorate the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, to carry forward the fine traditions of our Party and our armed forces, to inspire the national and contemporary spirit among both the military and the civilian population, to further deepen the harmonious atmosphere of “the military loves the people, the people support the military,” and to forge a new type of military-civilian relationship characterized by “sharing the same breath, a common destiny, and hearts united,” on July 26, 2019, the Banna Petrochemical Group Trade Union organized a special “August 1st” Armed Forces Day event titled “Visiting Military Camps and Building Friendly Ties” between its cadres and employees and the Mobile Detachment of the Internal Security Force of the People’s Armed Police. The event was successfully held at the Mobile Detachment of the Xishuangbanna Branch, joyfully celebrating the “August 1st” Armed Forces Day.
During the event, all union staff and workers visited the PAP Company’s anti-terrorism, emergency response, and rescue equipment room, the soldiers’ dormitories, and the unit’s vegetable production base. They also watched demonstrations of climbing, rappelling, firearms handling, and special operations conducted by the PAP officers and soldiers, gaining insight into the unit’s development history as well as the daily training and living conditions of its personnel.
Visited the Counter-Terrorism, Emergency Response, and Disaster Relief Equipment Room of the Armed Police Platoon.

Dressed in smart military uniforms, they exude an imposing and spirited demeanor that commands respect. Having undergone rigorous training and countless trials within the barracks, these service members display a dynamic, fearless, and indomitable spirit—every movement and every performance radiates the quintessential military ethos. Their noble mission has forged an unyielding will, vividly showcasing the iron will and unwavering resolve that define China’s armed forces.

The “Step into the Barracks, Build Solid Bonds” special event commemorating the August 1st Founding Day, jointly organized by the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group and the Armed Police Internal Security Mobile Squadron, has concluded successfully. The event vividly exemplified the close, harmonious relationship between the military and the civilian population. Through this exchange and collaborative initiative, the fine tradition of supporting the military and loving the people was further promoted, friendships between the military and the enterprise were strengthened, and the cultural lives of both sides were enriched.
