On March 4, Zhang Yanhong, Secretary of the Party Branch of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group and also Secretary of the Party Branch of the Xishuangbanna Tianwei Charity Foundation, led a delegation to the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Red Cross Society to donate RMB 57,516 in charitable contributions—funds raised from company employees, distributors, and the Jinghong City Investment Gas Company and Pu’er Gas Company, in which the group holds equity investments—to support COVID-19 prevention and control efforts. In addition, Party members of the company’s Party branch have donated a total of RMB 16,050, which will be remitted via bank transfer to the Xishuangbanna Tourism and Resort Zone Committee, the company’s higher-level Party organization.

Following the outbreak, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group promptly established a leading group for joint prevention and control, and formulated the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group’s Emergency Response Plan for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. During this period, the company’s employees have remained steadfast at their posts, fully assuming their primary responsibility for ensuring the supply of essential daily necessities—including refined oil products, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas—maintaining stable market prices, facilitating transportation and delivery, and meeting customer needs in the context of epidemic prevention and control. While delivering liquefied petroleum gas, delivery personnel also provide home-delivery services for essential household items such as rice and cooking oil, doing their utmost to meet the public’s basic needs.
As a locally grown and developed enterprise in Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group has, since the onset of the pandemic, donated 1,100 N95 masks—valued at over RMB 65,000—to the Xishuangbanna Infectious Diseases Hospital on two separate occasions. Actively assisted the Command Center of the Xishuangbanna Prefecture COVID-19 Prevention and Control Leading Group by dispatching company transport vehicles more than nine times, with a total of over 20 vehicles contributing to the transportation of emergency supplies and daily necessities for the Command Center. Donated 40 liters of medical alcohol, among other items, to the Resort Management Committee.
