To effectively enhance drivers’ awareness of safe driving, improve their safe-driving skills during operations, and ensure the safety of themselves, others, and company property, on November 20, the Jinghong Branch of Yexiangquan Drinking Water organized a theoretical examination on the Road Traffic Safety Law for five delivery-fleet drivers. The exam was conducted in a closed-book format and covered topics such as road traffic regulations, motor-vehicle traffic rules, handling of traffic accidents, and legal liabilities. Guo Li, Manager of the Jinghong Branch of Yexiangquan Drinking Water, and Chen Rui, Head of the Safety and Logistics Department of the Group Company, served as proctors for the examination.

 

To enhance the timeliness of this examination, drivers devoted their spare time to review, with some even studying while eating, creating a highly focused and intensive study atmosphere. Their hard work paid off: all drivers passed the exam successfully, achieving impressive scores ranging from a high of 100 to a low of 96. The examination enabled drivers to further reinforce their knowledge of the Road Traffic Safety Law and strengthen their awareness of safe driving.

 

The Road Traffic Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China was adopted at the 20th Session of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People’s Congress on April 22, 2011, and came into force on May 1, 2011. The promulgation and implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law have provided legal safeguards for maintaining road traffic order, preventing and reducing traffic accidents, protecting personal safety, safeguarding the property and other legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons, and other organizations, and enhancing traffic efficiency.
