Recently, Li Wei, Director of the Mengla County Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, led a four-member inspection team to conduct a special inspection of the safety management of special equipment at the Mengla Branch of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group, and signed the “Mengla County Special Equipment Safety Management Responsibility Agreement” with the branch manager, Piao Hua.

 

 

Director Li Wei and his delegation conducted a thorough inspection of the branch company’s retail outlets and warehouses, examining everything from hardware and facilities to internal rules and regulations, business licenses, and gas-operation permits. They also took the opportunity to ask warehouse staff on the spot about critical details such as the service life of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders and their scheduled inspection dates. After carefully listening to the branch’s report on illegal practices in the Mengla market—namely, the continued refilling of scrapped cylinders and the failure to conduct timely inspections—Director Li Wei immediately issued instructions to strengthen oversight and enforcement against such violations, while simultaneously collecting public complaints and ensuring that each reported case is investigated and addressed promptly, with any violator being shut down and its operations suspended upon verification.

 

 

 

While carefully reviewing our company’s safety regulations, emergency response plans, and other relevant documentation, Director Li Wei commended the branch for its strong emphasis on workplace safety and its commitment to establishing and maintaining comprehensive safety management records.
