Recently, the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Comprehensive Testing Center for Quality and Technical Supervision conducted a metrological supervision and inspection of the liquefied petroleum gas storage and distribution stations under the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group. The inspection team carried out a thorough and rigorous spot check covering LPG products, gross and net weights of cylinders, cylinder inspection cycles, cylinder certification status, cylinder scrapping, piping systems, certificates of conformity, labeling, as well as the origin, transportation, storage, and physical and chemical properties of the LPG. Detailed records were kept, and any non-compliant cylinders were scrapped on-site.

 

 

The inspection team emphasized that any quality issues or expired cylinders must be thoroughly identified, meticulously documented, and properly handled; refilling or placing such cylinders on the market is strictly prohibited. It is imperative to ensure compliance with quality standards, accurate weighing, and certification of cylinder conformity. Furthermore, responsibilities for standardized cylinder management must be firmly implemented, upholding the principles of “honesty and trustworthiness, impartiality and integrity, continuous improvement, accuracy, and efficiency” to operate as a law-abiding enterprise and promote the healthy and stable development of the business.

 

 

This quality inspection has effectively enhanced the quality of liquefied petroleum gas products, safeguarded the gas quality for the general public, and ensured the steady and sound development of LPG product quality across the entire prefecture.
