On June 23, the New Energy Development Department of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group actively responded to the Group’s call for Safety Production Month by convening a special meeting for its staff in the Group’s second-floor conference room, thereby earnestly implementing the spirit of the relevant documents issued for Safety Production Month.

 

 

 

The meeting featured a viewing of a traffic-safety video themed “Civilized Traffic, Safe Jinghong,” which systematically highlighted five common unsafe driving habits that pose significant risks to daily life. The New Energy Development Department is responsible for the delivery and maintenance services of alcohol-based fuel and 50-kg liquefied petroleum gas in Jinghong’s main urban area and adjacent suburbs. Given the complex driving routes, frequent vehicle deployments, and heavy traffic in the city, road safety is of paramount importance. Following the viewing of the traffic-safety video, drivers pledged to identify shortcomings in their own behavior and driving habits, make proactive improvements, and thereby enhance safety for themselves, their families, and the company.

 

 

Every June is China’s National Safety Production Month, and this year’s theme is “Strengthen the Rule of Law on Safety and Ensure Safe Production.” At the meeting, Manager Chen explained the importance and necessity of various publicity campaigns and activities during Safety Production Month. He also used several case studies of safety accidents to illustrate the “three violations” that often occur in workplace safety, emphasizing that only by taking safety seriously at the level of awareness can such accidents be prevented. He expressed the hope that, through ongoing learning, everyone will enhance their safety consciousness and eliminate safety hazards arising from complacency.
