Drinking water is the ultimate secret to longevity and vitality; it’s also the cornerstone of radiant, healthy skin. To achieve beauty and wellness, you need to get the timing, quantity, and quality of your hydration just right. Only when you drink properly can your body’s detoxification and metabolic functions reach their full potential. So why not jot this down and stick it on your desk as a gentle reminder to drink on schedule?

24-Hour Hydration for a Healthy Lifestyle
You should drink at least seven glasses of water each day. More important than the quality of the water is how you drink it. For optimal hydration, it’s best to consume seven to eight glasses throughout the day—though the exact amount will vary depending on your individual lifestyle.

Drinking a glass of water immediately after waking up helps dissolve and eliminate metabolic waste that has accumulated overnight, boosts metabolism and blood circulation for the day ahead, and reduces the workload on the heart. It also enhances excretory function, helps prevent and alleviate constipation, and sets the tone for a healthy, energetic day.

10:00 AM: Drink a glass of water at work.
When you feel bored and exhausted at work, a glass of cool water can help relieve fatigue and reduce feelings of monotony. What’s more, drinking water can help curb your nicotine cravings, which is a great benefit for heavy smokers’ health.

Drinking a glass of water before lunch can help prevent overeating. This is especially true for office workers who often eat out, as restaurant meals tend to be salty and spicy. Drinking more water during meals can help flush excess salt from the body and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
