On July 26, the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group organized a screening of the workplace inspirational film “The Pursuit of Happyness” for both new and veteran employees. Based on a true-life biography, the film vividly portrays the inspiring journey of a struggling sales representative—on the brink of bankruptcy and separated from his wife—who steps up to take on the responsibilities of single parenthood. Through an optimistic outlook on life, unwavering commitment to his dreams, and relentless dedication to his work, he ultimately rises to become a stockbroker and realizes his lifelong aspirations.

This film also profoundly impressed upon our employees the truth that “opportunity always favors the prepared, and the road to realizing one’s dreams is invariably bumpy.” In our work, each of us will inevitably encounter numerous setbacks and challenges, leading to moments of disappointment, hesitation, and helplessness. Yet as long as we remain steadfast in our belief that things will eventually improve and refuse to give up easily, our dreams will draw ever closer. With unwavering conviction and tireless effort, we are committed to embracing a more optimistic attitude and taking proactive steps to jointly build the corporate vision of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group—and to realize our individual dreams within this warm and nurturing family!
