The Jinghong Branch of Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Spring Drinking Water Co., Ltd. is focusing on the present, tailoring its approach to local conditions, refining specific measures, and rigorously carrying out all preparatory work for safe driving during the rainy and flood seasons, thereby proactively addressing the onset of these periods and ensuring driving safety throughout the flood season.

Recently, the Jinghong Branch of Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Spring Drinking Water Co., Ltd. organized a campaign to identify and address safety hazards in transport vehicles during the flood season, as well as training sessions on safe driving for its drivers.

First, the company has focused on safety education by organizing drivers to thoroughly study the Yunnan Provincial Road Transport Administration’s “Urgent Notice on Effectively Strengthening Safety Supervision of Road Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Passenger Transport” (Document No. Yunyun Anjian [2014] No. 138), the Jinghong City Transportation Administration’s forwarding of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Transport’s “Urgent Notice Forwarding the Ministry of Transport’s Activation of a Level-I Response to Defend Against Super Typhoon Rammasun” (Document No. Jingyun Fa [2014] No. 66), and the Group Company’s “Urgent Notice on Effectively Carrying Out Traffic Safety Production Work During the Summer Flood Season” (Document No. Xihua Ji [2014] No. 33). These efforts are aimed at genuinely enhancing drivers’ safety awareness and sense of responsibility to ensure driving safety. Second, the company has refined its vehicle management rules and regulations, rigorously controlling the vehicle dispatch approval process to ensure that each vehicle is assigned to a dedicated driver who is also responsible for its management, and that all vehicles receive proper maintenance and servicing. Third, the company has conducted a comprehensive inspection and remediation of potential vehicle hazards, strictly enforcing the “three checkpoints” to resolutely prevent any defective vehicles from being put on the road. To date, the company has carried out thorough inspections on all 14 vehicles used for transporting wild elephant spring drinking water, promptly eliminating any identified safety risks. Fourth, in response to the special weather conditions during the summer flood season, the company’s vehicle safety management personnel have made full use of driver training sessions to emphasize traffic safety education and reminders on “vehicle safety precautions during high-temperature and rainy seasons,” thereby enhancing drivers’ traffic safety awareness and emergency response skills and ensuring absolutely safe driving.
