Mr. Li Xiaozhong, a 68-year-old resident of Panzhihua Village near the Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Spring Water Plant, was unfortunately diagnosed with renal failure in 2013. Since the beginning of this year, his condition has worsened, requiring weekly dialysis treatments at the hospital. The exorbitant medical expenses have only further strained his family’s already limited financial resources.

Recently, upon learning of this news, the leadership of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group immediately dispatched Li Zhongwei, director of the Wild Elephant Spring Water Plant—a subsidiary of the group—along with relevant staff, to visit and extend their condolences to Mr. Li Xiaozhong on September 23 on behalf of the group’s leadership.

At the elderly man’s home, staff from the Yexiang Spring Water Plant engaged in warm, cordial conversation with his family, carefully inquiring about his condition and encouraging him to maintain confidence and overcome his illness at an early date. They then presented him with a condolence payment of RMB 1,000 on behalf of the company’s leadership. Upon receiving the funds, the elderly man tightly grasped Director Li Zhongwei’s hand, deeply moved as he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the leaders of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group for their care and concern.
