In accordance with the requirements of the “Notice of the Xishuangbanna Prefecture People’s Government on the Implementation Plan for the Special Campaign to Crack Down on Illegal Activities and Rectify Violations under the ‘Six Strikes and Six Rectifications’ Initiative” (Xizhengban Dian [2014] No. 30), Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. has recently launched a company-wide special campaign focused on “the transportation of hazardous chemicals and fire safety” to combat illegal activities and rectify violations.

 

To ensure the timely and effective implementation of the campaign, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., in light of its actual production conditions, established a special task force leadership group, refined the division of responsibilities, clarified individual duties, convened a dedicated mobilization meeting, and formulated and issued a specific implementation plan. The plan sets out the Group’s primary objectives for carrying out the “Six Crackdowns and Six Rectifications” campaign: first, to crack down on and rectify illegal and non-compliant practices such as unauthorized filling and loading/unloading of hazardous chemicals; second, to crack down on and rectify violations related to expired permits and licenses for hazardous-material transport vehicles, as well as speeding, overloading, and fatigued driving by drivers; third, to crack down on and rectify violations and non-compliance, including failure to equip hazardous-material vehicles with required safety devices or damage to such equipment, and the operation of vehicles with known defects; and fourth, to crack down on and rectify violations and non-compliance in liquefied-gas storage areas, retail outlets, and cylinder storage facilities, such as the absence or damage of fire-safety equipment and failure to maintain prescribed on-duty and patrol schedules in production and operational areas.
