More than 30 employees from Wild Elephant Spring Drinking Water Company, a subsidiary of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group, attended the ceremony and, following its conclusion, took part in a volunteer cleanup effort to remove household waste along the banks of the Mekong River.

Although rain was still falling in the morning sky, it did not deter anyone from moving forward. They Working in assigned teams with practiced efficiency and seamless coordination, they used chopsticks, tongs, bags, and other tools to clean up litter and debris from every corner—along the riverside stairs, on the narrow paths, and throughout the surrounding areas. Bending low and crouching down, they meticulously picked up even the tiniest bits of trash, such as cigarette butts and scraps of paper, leaving nothing behind. Their focused dedication seemed to make them oblivious to the light rain still falling from the sky; some colleagues even set aside their tools and, with bare hands, painstakingly cleared out particularly hard-to-reach sanitary dead spots.
