This training session was divided into two parts: energy conservation and environmental protection, and enterprise transformation and upgrading. First, the energy conservation and environmental protection training highlighted the critical importance of these initiatives for businesses. Participants studied the policies and guidelines outlined in the 13th Five-Year Plan and the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee regarding the promotion of clean energy and energy conservation and environmental protection. They also gained a clear understanding of Xishuangbanna Prefecture’s commitment to the “Ecological Development” strategy, its firm belief that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets,” and its unwavering dedication to protecting the tropical rainforest. Through this training, enterprises’ development philosophies were strengthened, and their sense of social responsibility was further reinforced.

Secondly, Director Yang of the State Commission of Industry and Information Technology conducted a training session on the theme of “Building Enterprise Quality and Brands.” The training focused on two key areas: “the priorities and challenges in enterprise project applications” and “pathways for enterprise innovation and transformation.” Understanding the project application process and recognizing its significance for enterprises will greatly assist us in becoming familiar with the procedures, available avenues, and required documentation.

Finally, Director Yang offered the following advice to enterprises: In this era of explosive growth in knowledge and information, with increasingly specialized divisions of labor, it is simply impossible to be self-sufficient in every aspect. The key to survival—and to long-term success—is to partner with a reliable intermediary service provider that can deliver professional services, thereby creating win-win or multi-win outcomes.
