On October 29, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group held a kickoff meeting to launch the ERP project. The meeting was attended by Zhang Yanhong, head of the Group’s Information Technology Development Leading Group, heads of various departments, and Yang Feng, Director of ERP Project Implementation at Kingdee Software’s Yunnan Branch.

According to available information, the ERP project for Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group was officially launched on August 12, 2016, and an ERP Project Leadership Group and an Implementation Team were promptly established. Under the sound guidance of the Group’s leadership, the project team undertook extensive work in staffing, setting up the training environment, and conducting key-user training. Over nearly three months of concerted collaboration, critical tasks such as data collection, standardization and streamlining, and personnel training were successfully completed across various business lines—including financial control, asset management, and materials procurement—within all departments and subsidiaries of the Group. In particular, in light of the company’s actual conditions and management characteristics, departments and subsidiaries engaged in repeated exchanges and close coordination, enabling the Group to swiftly meet the required personnel, data, system, and process-and-policy criteria for the core ERP system, as mandated by Group headquarters. As a result, the four major phases of the project—project preparation, blueprint design, system implementation, and go-live preparation—were successfully concluded.

Through the implementation and construction of this project, we will achieve a shift from decentralized to centralized management, from extensive to lean management, and from customized to standardized management, ultimately realizing standardization, regularization, and informationization of enterprise management.
