On the morning of June 2, the launch ceremony for the 2018 “Safety Production Month” campaign, organized by the Safety Production Supervision and Management Committee of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group, was held at the Group’s Liquefied Gas Storage and Distribution Station. More than 100 people attended the event, including Group leaders, heads of all departments and branch companies under the Group, and employee representatives. The ceremony was hosted by the Office of the Safety Production Supervision and Management Committee.

Conduct a safety banner signing event
The 2018 “Work Safety Month” campaign was themed “Putting Life First, Pursuing Safe Development,” adhering to the principle of “Safety First, Prevention-Oriented, Comprehensive Governance.” It emphasized the concepts that “work safety is the greatest benefit for an enterprise” and “protecting the lives and safety of employees,” while strengthening awareness of the red line in work safety. Following the working approach of “prevention first, process control, and strict management,” a leading group for the campaign was established, a work plan was formulated, a launch ceremony was organized, and a series of activities were deployed, including thematic publicity campaigns at the grassroots level, educational warnings on work safety accidents, signing of responsibility agreements for work safety, public announcements of safety risks, and identification and remediation of potential hazards.

Conduct fire emergency drills
The Group Company requires the heads of all departments and branch offices to mobilize all employees to actively participate in the company’s “Safety Production Month” activities, with the aim of enhancing safety awareness and improving safe operating practices across the entire workforce. Each department and branch office is also expected to organize safety-month kickoff meetings for their employees, establish a leading group for the initiative, and, based on actual safety production conditions, develop specific activity plans and implementation schemes to ensure the effective execution of the “Safety Production Month” campaign.
