Practical, effective and practical

On the morning of June 23, the Youth League branch of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group organized more than 40 young members to carry out a public-service environmental protection volunteer activity along the banks of the Lancang River, under the theme “Let’s Join Hands to Protect Our Mother River.” The initiative aims to enhance young members’ awareness of environmental protection for the Lancang River—their “mother river”—strengthen the cohesion of the Youth League, foster a spirit of teamwork, and showcase the new image of contemporary young League members.

 

 

During the activity, everyone was proactive, eager to take the lead, supportive of one another, left no area unattended, and meticulously cleaned up the trash.

 

 

 

 

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized that building an ecological civilization is a millennium-long plan for the sustainable development of the Chinese nation, elevating ecological civilization construction and environmental protection to an unprecedented level. Volunteers participating in this event, through repeated bending and raising of their arms, have become both practitioners and promoters of the spirit of the 19th National Congress.

 

After the event concluded, participants unanimously expressed their commitment to actively contributing to environmental protection in their daily work and lives, using concrete actions to inspire those around them to join in caring for the environment. Together, we can make our shared home more harmonious, cleaner, and more beautiful.
