On the morning of August 31, the editorial office of “Party Building in Non-Public Enterprises,” the Organization Department of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, the Organization Department of the CPC Xishuangbanna Prefectural Committee, and other relevant departments jointly conducted a research survey on party building work in “two new” organizations at the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group.

The Party branch of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group was established in March 2002, making it one of the first grassroots Party organizations to be set up among non-public enterprises in Xishuangbanna Prefecture. Since its establishment, the Party branch has consistently upheld Party building as the guiding force, focusing on strengthening leadership team development, improving Party member management, enhancing employee services, and providing assistance to the impoverished and disadvantaged. Through these efforts, it has promoted the deep integration of Party building with enterprise production and development, thereby establishing a high-quality corporate image.
Since its establishment, the company’s Party branch has guided the enterprise in securing a total of 81 national, provincial, and prefectural/municipal honors, including 5 at the national level, 26 at the provincial or ministerial level, and 50 at the prefectural or municipal level. The company’s trade union has been awarded the “National Model Worker Vanguard” and the “National Model Workers’ Home” by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, while Chairman Liu Tianwei has been recognized as a “National Model Worker” and a “National Moral Model.” In addition, two grassroots employees, Zhang Rui and Yang Chao, have received the Yunnan Provincial “May Day Labor Medal.” In 2018, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group ranked 28th among the “Top 100 Private Enterprises in Yunnan Province” and 8th among the “Top 20 Private Service Enterprises in Yunnan Province.” These achievements demonstrate the vital role played by grassroots Party organizations in the enterprise’s production, operations, and development, effectively fostering deep integration between Party building and business growth and creating a win-win situation in which both Party building and corporate development are mutually reinforced.
