    To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and to vigorously promote the volunteer spirit of “dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress,” on August 10, employees from the Party, trade union, and Youth League organizations of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group participated in a voluntary blood donation drive.

Voluntary blood donation is a noble act of selfless dedication, saving lives and helping the injured, and upholding humanitarianism. It is the perfect embodiment of the traditional Chinese virtue of “each for all, all for each,” and, as stipulated in the Blood Donation Law of the People’s Republic of China, it is also the responsibility and obligation that every citizen is required to fulfill.

The blood-donation event was warm and heartwarming. Participating employees cooperated enthusiastically with the blood-center staff in completing forms, undergoing physical examinations, and providing blood samples for testing. Those who passed the screening donated blood in an orderly manner, one after another, throughout the entire process, which unfolded in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
