On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, on September 26, Oasis Real Estate Company of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group donated RMB 5 million to Jinghong City Ethnic Kindergarten, presenting a heartfelt gift to our great motherland on its 70th birthday.

Zhang Meilan, Director of the Concern Committee for the Well-being of Minors of Xishuangbanna Prefecture; Yan Hanban, Vice Mayor of the Jinghong Municipal People’s Government; Huang Piming, Director of the Jinghong Municipal Education and Sports Bureau; Liu Tianwei, Chairman of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group; and other dignitaries attended the donation ceremony.

Chairman Liu Tianwei said emotionally in his speech at the donation and education-support ceremony, “Children are the future of our country and the hope of our nation.” “Talent development must begin in early childhood.” Only a nation that possesses talented people can be strong, and only then will its people have hope. Going forward, the company will continue to care about, support, and assist the development of education as always, demonstrating its social responsibility through concrete actions and expressing gratitude through dedicated service, thereby making new and greater contributions to advancing the modernization of education and building a strong educational nation!  

Vice Mayor Yan Hanban, on behalf of the Jinghong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, expressed gratitude to Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group’s Oasis Real Estate Company for its generous support of education and charitable contributions, and urged the children to study hard and strive for continuous improvement.

According to reports, Oasis Real Estate Company of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group has donated RMB 5 million to the Jinghong City Ethnic Kindergarten, with the funds primarily earmarked for the construction of Phase II of the kindergarten’s teaching building. The project officially broke ground on March 16, 2018, and topped out on August 10, 2018. On April 21, 2019, the first quality inspection of air, water, and electricity was conducted and found to be compliant. Following the handover of the teaching building to the kindergarten, a second air quality inspection was carried out on August 20, 2019, after the furnishings for the children’s activity rooms—including corner cabinets, backpack lockers, shoe lockers, cup lockers, and curtains—had been installed; the results of this inspection were also compliant. It was officially put into operation on August 26, 2019.

“Compassion and responsibility go hand in hand, and corporate development marches in tandem with philanthropy” is the core value proposition of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group. As the company grows and prospers, it remains grateful for its origins and gives back to society. The organization has successively donated funds to build “Tianwei Primary School in Menghai County,” funded the construction of the “Tianwei Tiered Classroom” at Tongguan Primary School in Tongguan Town, Mojiang County, donated to establish the “Tianwei Ethical Lecture Hall” at Mojiang County No. 2 Middle School, and funded the construction of the “Tianwei Cultural Activity Room” at Tongguan Middle School in Mojiang County. In addition, it provides targeted annual assistance to more than 20 impoverished college students. Since its establishment, the company has dedicated over RMB 10 million to supporting the development of education.
