Today, taking the “Gasification of Yunnan” development strategy as an opportunity, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical is comprehensively advancing the construction of natural gas pipeline networks in Jinghong’s new urban districts. Construction of municipal piped-gas projects in various new areas—including the Xishuangbanna Tourism and Resort Zone and the Jinghong Industrial Park—is now in full swing, with total investment reaching over RMB 100 million. Some projects have already been completed and put into operation, benefiting more than 88,600 households with the convenience brought by piped-gas infrastructure. It is foreseeable that the development of piped gas in Xishuangbanna will enjoy a promising future.
