Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Jinghong Branch Organizes Training on Polite Language for Gas Delivery Personnel
Polite language is a concrete manifestation of respect for others and serves as the key to fostering friendly relationships. Therefore, it is essential that we use polite expressions in our daily lives, particularly in social settings. Frequently employing courteous words not only demonstrates respect for others but also reflects one’s own refinement; thus, using more polite language helps create a harmonious atmosphere and enhances interpersonal communication.
The gas delivery personnel of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group are front-line employees who have direct contact with customers; therefore, the company places great emphasis on training them in professional etiquette and business skills. Recently, the Jinghong Branch of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group took advantage of the delivery staff’s downtime to organize sessions on the use of polite language in daily work.
Ten everyday polite phrases: “Hello, please, sorry, thank you, goodbye.”
Common greetings include: “Good morning,” “Good afternoon,” “Good evening,” “Hello,” “Nice to meet you,” “Please advise,” and “Please take good care of me,” among others.
Expressions of gratitude: “Thank you,” “Excuse me for the trouble,” “I’m so sorry to have troubled you,” “I truly feel bad about this,” “Please,” “Sorry to bother you,” “Thank you for your help,” and so on.
Interrupting or apologizing to the other party: “I’m sorry,” “Please forgive me,” “I’m very sorry,” “Please wait a moment,” “Sorry to trouble you,” “Please be understanding,” and so on.
When accepting someone’s thanks or apology: “You’re welcome,” “No need to thank me,” “Don’t mention it,” “It’s okay,” or “Please don’t take it to heart,” among others.
