With the onset of the rainy season, in order to maintain vehicles in good condition and ensure their safe operation, Chen Rui, Deputy Manager of the Safety Storage and Transportation Department of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., recently conducted a thorough vehicle safety inspection at the Jiangbei Warehouse of the Jinghong Branch of Yexiangquan Drinking Water, which is part of the group.

This inspection primarily covers the vehicle’s exterior, lighting system, body, instrument panel, engine, transmission system, running gear, steering system, and braking system.

The overall inspection requirements are as follows: “Four Movements”—the engine must start, the brakes must engage, the steering wheel must turn, and the vehicle must be movable by one person; “Four Functions”—the battery must be fully charged and securely mounted, the lights must be bright and in good working order, the horn must sound clear and loud, and the windshield wipers must operate smoothly and freely; “Four No-Leaks”—there must be no oil, water, electrical, or air leaks anywhere on the vehicle; “Four Cleans”—the battery, air filter, fuel filter, and oil filter must all be clean; “Four Absences”—no overheating of any components, no unusual noises from any parts, no distortion or warping of the body or cab, and no missing onboard tools; “Five Sufficiencies”—tire pressure, lubricating oil, coolant, fuel, and distilled water for the battery must all be at adequate levels; all vehicle and driver documentation must be complete; and all vehicle repair and maintenance records must be fully maintained.
