State Senior Citizens Association Visits the Yexiangquan Drinking Water Plant
On September 4, Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Spring Drinking Water Co., Ltd. invited the Prefecture Senior Citizens Association to visit the company’s water plant production base. A total of 27 members from the association attended, representing various groups within the association, including the Martial Arts Association, the Calligraphy and Painting Association, and the Senior University.
On that day, all members of the Senior Citizens Association, accompanied by relevant staff from the water plant, conducted a site visit to Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Spring Drinking Water Co., Ltd.’s production facility, inspecting the water storage tanks, the drinking water production line, the fully automated bottle-washing and filling line, and the quality-control laboratory. In the conference room, they listened in detail to briefings on the company’s water-source conditions, safe production practices, quality-testing procedures, storage and transportation protocols, outlet-network development, marketing strategies, and after-sales service. They also engaged in thorough and in-depth discussions and exchanges with company representatives regarding several questions that arose during the tour.

According to available information, Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Spring Drinking Water Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group, with an investment of nearly RMB 100 million. The company currently employs more than 100 people. Its drinking water production base is located in the Wild Elephant Valley within the Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve, and all of its Wild Elephant Spring drinking water is produced on a fully enclosed, automated production line. The product lineup includes natural spring water and purified drinking water, available in both barrel and bottle formats, with a daily output capacity of over 30,000 barrels (or bottles). Sales coverage extends to one city and two counties within the prefecture, as well as markets such as Pu’er.
