outline：On March 2–3, Liu Tianwei and Zhang Yanhong, chairpersons of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., visited and extended condolences to a number of pre-Founding-era veteran Party members facing hardship, centenarians, lonely and disabled elderly individuals, families of martyrs and military personnel, as well as retired cadres from the science, education, culture, health, and other sectors, accompanied by staff from the Organization Department, Civil Affairs Bureau, and Veterans’ Affairs Bureau of the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Party Committee.

From March 2 to 3, Liu Tianwei and Zhang Yanhong, chairpersons of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., accompanied by staff from the Organization Department, Civil Affairs Bureau, and Veterans’ Affairs Bureau of the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Party Committee, visited and extended condolences to a number of disadvantaged veteran Party members who joined the Party before the founding of the People’s Republic, centenarians, lonely and disabled elderly individuals, families of martyrs and military personnel, as well as retired experts from the science, education, culture, health, and other sectors. They presented condolence payments and conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on the occasion of the Lantern Festival. Wang Jinzheng, Chairman of the Trade Union and Director of the Office of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., Xie Sujie, Deputy Manager of the Finance Department, and Zhang Guihong, Deputy Director of the Office, also took part in the visit.

 

 

 

At the Central Senior Care Home in Gasa Town, Jinghong City, Liu Tianwei and Zhang Yanhong visited the residents’ rooms to inquire in detail about their daily lives. They also presented condolence payments on the spot, wishing the elderly good health and long life, and urged the care home staff to provide meticulous care for the residents’ daily needs so that they may enjoy a peaceful and comfortable retirement.

 

 

 

At the homes of centenarians Yan Zhuanglong and Yu Shuai in Mandajiu Village, Gasa Town, Jinghong, it was learned that despite being 101 years old this year, the elderly couple remain fully self-sufficient. Every morning, they take a leisurely stroll around the village, enjoy a full bowl of rice at each meal, and maintain excellent spirits. They are even able to converse in Mandarin with visiting guests, much to the amazement of Liu Tianwei and his wife, who had come to offer their condolences. Chairman Liu Tianwei, warmly grasping the hands of the centenarians, said with deep emotion: “Harmony at home brings prosperity in all things. We wish you both abundant blessings and long life, and a joyful golden age.”

 

 

 

At the home of Xian Hang, an elderly and impoverished Aini ethnic minority resident of Nanxi Village, Shayao Village Committee, Gasa Town, Jinghong City, Chairman Liu Tianwei carefully inquired about the elder’s health and living conditions. He stated: “Respecting and caring for the elderly is a shared responsibility of the entire society. Our company will further promote the traditional virtues of respecting, honoring, and loving the elderly, ensuring that they are well cared for and have reliable support in their later years.” He also extended his best wishes for family happiness and a brighter, more prosperous future.

 

“Hello, Auntie! How are you doing? The Lantern Festival is just around the corner, so I’ve come to wish you a happy Little New Year in advance.” At the doorstep of Zhong Zhuqing, a veteran Party member facing financial hardship at Jinghong Farm, Chairman Liu Tianwei warmly shook the elderly woman’s hand and engaged her in heartfelt conversation, inquiring about her daily life and health, and urging her to take good care of herself and enjoy her golden years.
