China has long been renowned as a nation of propriety and ritual; when people have sufficient food and clothing, they become mindful of etiquette. As the ancient sage said, “Without propriety, people cannot live; without propriety, undertakings cannot be accomplished; and without propriety, a state cannot enjoy peace,” a maxim recorded in Xunzi’s “Self-Cultivation.”

 

   

To enhance employees’ overall competence and boost the company’s competitive edge, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group recently organized training sessions on business etiquette and photography and videography for its staff.

 

 

The training event on business etiquette has invited Ms. Wang Xiaoyin, a registered Chinese catering service master and a national-level first-class catering service judge, to serve as the keynote speaker.

 

 

We are inviting senior photographer Mr. Yang Yong, a multiple national award winner in photography competitions, to serve as the keynote speaker.

Two training instructors drew on their own professional experience to deliver detailed explanations and hands-on demonstrations using PowerPoint presentations and live instruction, while also employing interactive sessions and role-playing exercises to reinforce learning. The training program was rich in content, with lessons presented in a clear, accessible, and engaging manner, enabling employees to not only enjoy themselves but also master the norms and techniques of business etiquette in various settings, as well as the basic principles and practical skills of photography and videography.

At the conclusion of the training session, Zhang Yanhong, Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group, stated that the training had been highly effective and that attendance had far exceeded the original target, underscoring employees’ strong sense of responsibility and commitment to their work. She emphasized that today’s market competition is not only about products and corporate brand image, but also about high-caliber, well-rounded talent. Acquiring solid business etiquette and photography and videography skills can more effectively promote and showcase a company’s positive image, which is essential for the mutual development of both employees and the enterprise. She expressed her hope that, through this training, employees would put what they have learned into practice, thereby becoming elite members of the organization and collectively striving to build a modern, cutting-edge enterprise that is “a century-old renowned brand, first-class in the region, and nationally recognized.”
