On the morning of February 11, Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group held a summary meeting for the acceptance of its ERP project. Attending the meeting were Zhang Yanhong, Deputy General Manager of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group and Head of the Informationization Construction Leading Group; Lin Gang, another Deputy General Manager; Lei Tianrong, Director of the Marketing Center at Kingdee Software’s Kunming Branch; Yang Feng, Director of the Consulting Center; and other senior officials. In addition, more than 50 representatives from the ERP project team, as well as management and finance personnel from various departments and branch companies under the group, took part in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Luo Zixue, the group’s ERP project manager.

 

 

At the meeting, Luo Zixue, ERP Project Manager of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group, delivered a project summary report, sharing detailed insights into the project team’s activities and personnel training over the past six months. During this period, thanks to the high level of attention from the Group’s leadership and the concerted efforts of all business departments, as well as the close collaboration with the project team from Kingdee Software’s Kunming branch, the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group ERP project team successfully completed all assigned tasks, fully demonstrating the team’s efficient execution and strong cohesion.

 

 

At the meeting, Yang Feng, Director of the Consulting Center of Kingdee Software’s Kunming Branch, engaged in a discussion with attendees on the theme of “Enterprise Informationization,” briefly reviewing the collaboration between the two parties since its inception and providing a detailed account of the achievements attained during the project. Since its launch in August 2016, the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group ERP project has successfully completed all phases, including project preparation, blueprint design, system implementation, and go-live support. The project involved entering information for 8 group subsidiaries, 70 departments, 126 positions, and 312 employees; compiling data for 1,445 customers and 70 suppliers; and fully achieving all objectives set forth in the project plan within a six-month timeframe. The smooth progress and successful completion of all tasks were attributable to the high level of attention paid by the leadership of the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group, the active cooperation of key users, and timely and effective communication between both sides. Director Yang also encouraged everyone to maintain strong motivation, work closely together, continue their efforts, and successfully carry out the next phase of the project, thereby realizing comprehensive informationization across the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group.

 

 

Lei Tianrong, Marketing Director of Kingdee Software’s Kunming Branch, expressed high praise for the full participation of all employees at the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group in the ERP project implementation. He also commended the project teams from both sides for their dedicated efforts and seamless collaboration throughout the project, and urged them to promptly identify and swiftly resolve any issues that arise during system operation.

 

 

Finally, Zhang Yanhong, Deputy General Manager of Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group and Head of the Informationization Construction Leading Group, delivered a concluding address, announcing the successful completion of the ERP project at Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group. She emphasized that the implementation of the ERP system reflects the Group’s adherence to the inevitable trend of informationization and serves as a concrete manifestation of the “Internet Plus” strategy. The rollout of the ERP system represents a major transformation of traditional management philosophies and models, meeting the objective need to enhance management efficiency and effectiveness and to build a modern corporate governance framework. With the system now fully operational, it is poised to have a significant and far-reaching impact on elevating the Company’s management standards. The acceptance of the ERP project does not mark the end of the informationization journey; rather, it signals a new beginning. She urged all employees of the Group to remain true to their original aspirations, continue to strive with determination, proactively break free from conventional thinking, embrace new perspectives, and rise to challenges. By rolling up their sleeves and working diligently, they will leverage the ERP-based control model to ultimately achieve standardization, regularization, and full-scale informationization of enterprise management.

 

 

 

The successful completion of the acceptance review for the Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group’s ERP project signifies that the group’s internal control management has reached a more mature stage, marks a new milestone in the strategic partnership between Xishuangbanna Petrochemical Group and Kingdee Software, and indicates that the group’s comprehensive IT transformation is steadily being realized.
